This game is on my top 2 favorite rpgs now. The characters are full of charm, each one is unique, the battles are a lot of fun (and HARD !! Especially those with bosses) and the soundtrack \/ dubbing are great.This game is worth every penny.. It... seems like a good game, but a lot of design flaw, mostly in the visual part make it boring. I felt asleep some minutes into the game despite promising storyline. Wall of tutorial texts. You have to close some 5 or 6 big windows each battle. Just for an example, there's a popup that teach you the cog icon at top right corner is the menu button. Animation speed is waaaay wrong. Slow UI popup with some meaningless text, character walking take seconds, wind up animation take seconds, then damage and effect (the meaningful stuffs) blink through before you could see what's happening. Battles are decently hard, skills miss all the time, mistakes are made. But the actions look dull and uninteresting. It's really hard to have a feeling of a battle. Successes aren't visibly rewarding, mistakes aren't visibly painful. Everything's just a white number over a bar. Up to where I quit, all of my party members are white, blue-eyed blond. How the heck do I know who's who?
